Elyria, OH. - May 23, 2011- Jet
Fuel Strategies, LLC. today announced the launch of a new direct-from-fbo pricing initiative. Since forming in Jan.
2010, the company has offered its web-based fuel management
tools to its subscribers as value added components, while
focusing its pricing efforts primarily on aggressive
partnerships with the industry's contract supply vendors.
JFS President, Doug McConnell, characterized the move as "progressive". "Our mission is and always has been simple. To provide the lowest possible price for fuel to our subscribers", said McConnell. "Partnering directly with the FBO, when possible, will further enhance our ability to fulfill the obligation we have to our fleet to deliver low prices. We are casting the net as wide as we can". He added that the company also has full-time 'Fuel Strategy Specialist' staffers who can negotiate with FBOs on behalf of JFS subscribers in specific situations, as well as on an ongoing partnership basis.
